This demonstration site focuses on improving soil health by implementing modern agricultural systems under real-farm conditions. This site showcases how sustainable farming practices can empower farmers and the wider community to actively engage in environmental stewardship, supporting the region’s long-term ecological and economic well-being.

What is being tested on-site?
Practical and innovative strategies to adapt crop production, primarily organic, to climate change will be tested by:
increasing crop diversity and enhancing soil coverage with cover crops
intercropping of annual and perennial legumes with staple crops
growing crops in strips
utilizing green biomass and various types of biowaste in vegetable production
Timeframe: Throughout the duration of the project (from 2025 to 2028)
