Overall Concept

ClimaPannonia focuses on strengthening climate resilience in agriculture across the Pannonian Basin by connecting innovative systemic solutions with practical demonstration activities in the field.

The project explores key areas such as agroforestry, the water–food nexus, organic crop production and cattle production, where climate-adapted practices are tested, refined and demonstrated through a network of Deep Demonstrators in Hungary and Serbia, alongside Reapplication Demonstrators across the wider region.

By combining field experience, knowledge exchange and regional collaboration, ClimaPannonia works to translate tested practices into actionable roadmaps, innovative business and financing models, targeted trainings and digital tools such as the ClimaPannonia application.

Together, these efforts support the long-term transition of agriculture and rural communities toward stronger climate resilience.
