An important milestone has been reached within the ClimaPannonia project as the Organic Crop Production DeepDemo has officially launched its first field experiments.

Led by the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Novi Sad, this DeepDemo focuses on implementing modern agricultural systems and organic crop management practices aimed at strengthening soil health and supporting the long-term ecological and economic resilience of the region.

The activities mark the beginning of practical experimentation designed to translate scientific knowledge into field-based solutions. Through these efforts, the DeepDemo will explore approaches that can improve soil conditions, support sustainable crop production and contribute to more resilient agricultural systems.

The launch of this site is part of a broader network of DeepDemo activities taking place across the Pannonian region, where project partners are establishing demonstration sites and testing innovative solutions under real agricultural conditions.

The Organic Crop Production DeepDemo is coordinated by Svetlana Vujić and Ranko Čabilovski, whose work in the field marks the first step in turning project concepts into tangible agricultural practice.
