The Soil Re-Union Congress, organised by the Serbian Society of Soil Science, was held in Vrdnik (Serbia), bringing together experts dedicated to the study and protection of soil resources.
During the project exhibition tour, ClimaPannonia was presented alongside a number of initiatives working toward healthier soils and more resilient agricultural systems. The congress provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss current challenges in soil management and strengthen connections among stakeholders from the agricultural and scientific communities.
For ClimaPannonia, this event came at an important moment, as several of its DeepDemo activities have recently entered the implementation phase. The congress therefore offered a valuable platform to present how project ideas are gradually translating into practical action and collaborative initiatives across the region.
Participation in the event also allowed the project team to engage with representatives from the agricultural sector and organisations working on soil health and climate resilience. Discussions throughout the congress highlighted the importance of shared knowledge and cooperation in addressing environmental challenges and supporting sustainable agricultural systems.
ClimaPannonia was represented at the congress by Svetlana Vujić, Ranko Čabilovski and Nenad Magazin, who contributed to discussions and exchanges with participants throughout the event.
