The 2nd RECROP COST Action (CA22157) Annual Meeting took place in Thessaloniki (Greece), under the title Climate-Proof Crop Reproduction: From Lab to Farm. The event focused on strengthening the connection between scientific research and practical farming solutions.

The ClimaPannonia project was presented during the conference through a contribution delivered by the project coordinator Velimir Mladenov, who also serves as the Science Communication Manager within the RECROP action. The presentation introduced the project’s broader work on developing practical approaches to climate adaptation in agriculture, while strengthening cooperation between research institutions, farmers and regional stakeholders across the Pannonian biogeographical area.

Readers are invited to explore the conference’s abstract book and find the section dedicated to the ClimaPannonia project on page 108, where the project’s objectives and contribution to climate adaptation in agriculture are presented in more detail.

Although the ClimaPannonia team could not be physically present in Thessaloniki, project representatives joined the event online and followed the discussions with great interest. The photograph below captures a moment from the meeting and reflects the atmosphere of this inspiring gathering.
